The Casambi protocol is based on Bluetooth Low Energy communication technology and can be used to control lighting with a smartphone or tablet. All lighting products can communicate by means of a mesh network that connects all Casambi LED drivers, LED controllers, sensors and switches. The resulting network is comprehensive, stable and wireless.
In a Casambi network, fixtures can be controlled individually or by zone. Add our Casambi daylight sensors and you will even be able to match the light output exactly to current light levels, with Casambi motion sensors ensuring that your lights only stay on if absolutely necessary. What’s more, you can also integrate a sunrise/sunset timer function for a significantly lower energy bill.
A Casambi network has a range of about 25 meters. If you want a lighting system that can be monitored and controlled remotely, either by the customer or as part of the maintenance contract, we recommend a Casambi gateway for easy remote access.
