You might not think about it when you see it, but we spent almost two years tinkering on the Tronix Wall Lamp Cube. It’s one of our best-selling fixtures, and it appeals to a wide range of customers. But what is it that makes the unassuming cube so popular?
We quickly came up with a wish list during the early meetings to talk about a new wall fixture. The lamp had to look good; clean and stylish, and complement a variety of interiors. And the price? As always, it had to offer a lot of quality for a small amount of money.
We quickly agreed to sink our teeth into the challenge, and not to settle for easy solutions. We’d use all of our knowledge, expertise and experience to make something special. Why? Because that’s our biggest motivation: to help you stand out from the crowd.
Two years later, we introduced this wall lamp, and it’s proven its potential every day since then. Here are five of the most important factors for the cube’s success:
The Wall Lamp Cube is 10 x 10 x 10 cm cube, and it looks like something from a science fiction film. It was initially offered in either black or white, but we added a grey option later on the advice of our product developers and design experts.
The Wall Lamp Cube features invisible wall fittings. Once it’s fitted, you can’t see any screws, nuts or bolts. So the fixture itself draws your complete attention, which is where you want attention focused: on the cube.
The Wall Lamp Cube was originally intended as an indoor fixture, but there’s no reason to hide it from the outside world. So we made it water-tight and able to withstand any weather conditions.
The Wall Lamp Cube is a jack-of-all-trades: dimmable and adjustable to create any desired atmosphere. It’s perfect for warm, traditional interiors, but it also stands out in more contemporary interiors and work environments.
The Wall Lamp Cube is an ‘up-and-down lighter’, that you can perfectly adjust to suit your preferences. The four shades can each be adjusted separately to provide a maximum light angle of 120 degrees. But what if you don’t want light at the top or bottom? Simply close the shades, and not a sliver of light will get through. It’s your call!
