As a global player in automotive parts, you don’t just attend the world’s biggest trade fair – you want to stand out. To achieve exactly that, DENSO turned to Tausch, specialists in creative and sustainable exhibition concepts. The result was a show-stopping booth, powered by Tronix lighting to deliver the wow effect.

“DENSO wanted a bold, interactive booth for Automechanika Frankfurt 2024,” says Wesley Duynhoven, project engineer at Tausch. “At a fair packed with competitors, the challenge was clear: how do you turn automotive components into a striking trade show experience?

DENSO in the Spotlight at Automechanika

Striking design
Tausch responded with a booth full of interactive elements. Visitors explored parts through immersive 3D visuals, with lighting taking centre stage. The real eye-catcher? Three closed, evenly lit RGB LED circles – a technical challenge under tight deadlines and limited space, but with a spectacular outcome that impressed both customers and competitors.

Custom lighting solutions
Every detail had to fit seamlessly. The LED circles were scaled to match curved walls and rounded elements, creating a smooth, unified look. Tronix supplied precision-fitted LED strips, including one embedded into the booth floor, perfectly aligned within the milled groove. True custom engineering at every step.

Dynamic storytelling
Another highlight was a dynamic red LED line guiding visitors along DENSO’s history. Behind it, an SPI COB LED strip provided a seamless glow. The moving line told the story in a simple, powerful way – and looked spectacular.

“The quality and attention to detail were spot on, and customers were really impressed.”

Smart control
Behind the scenes the technology was complex, but the client wanted one-touch control. Tronix engineered the power, drivers, and control systems to make that possible. With a single device, all lighting elements could be switched on or off.

Spot on
The outcome? A booth that impressed everyone – clients, visitors, and industry professionals. As Fatiha Laauich, Marketing Manager at DENSO Europe, summed it up: “Tausch went above and beyond. The quality and attention to detail were spot on, and customers were really impressed.”
