DVDIII is a deluxe office complex in the heart of Uden. Inside, a variety of entrepreneurs are active in a professional work environment with an accessible, open atmosphere. Tenants and visitors are immediately struk by the light, both inside the offices and in the other spaces. The light design is the work of Eric Schuurmans, owner of Audiovisie.
Luxurious atmosphere
The lack of natural light posed a challenge, but that turned out to be part of the solution. Eric: “The users liked the color of the light so much, that we ended up using it in all of the offices. We also installed stylish hanging light fixtures in the ceiling of the courtyard plaza, and deluxe downlighters in the corridors. The luxurious atmosphere even extends to the lighting in the lavatories. And as a finishing touch: a lot of the lights are adjustable and dimmable, which comes in handy when you’re giving a presentation, for example.”

Eric recalls how the relationship between Audiovisie and Tronix goes back to the 1980s. “We speak the same language and both delivery high quality. So we complement one another in every project we do together. I also think Tronix’ flexibility is a real plus. When I need a different product, it’s never a problem. And in the end, our client is ecstatic about the result, which he says looks exactly like the design drawings in every detail. And that’s why we do what we do.”
