Jaleco has no ambitions to become the country’s biggest finishing company. But the company from Nieuw-Lekkerland does want to be the best. They like showing everything they’re capable of and have recently found the perfect place to do so: their brand-new Experience Center. Co-owner Rick Janse explains.

Lighting is much more than light

“We didn’t want a massive showroom filled to the brim with products. We wanted to create an experience: a space to inspire clients, architects and other visitors. In the centre, we take people on a tour of a wide range of products and applications, from different floor finishes and ceilings to interior solutions, walling, and furnishing for sports halls, you name it. Tronix’s lighting was absolutely key for us.”

"I'm probably biased, but I love how the Experience Centre turned out. And our visitors agree. With a tablet in hand, we walk in and out of the various rooms in the centre. They’re all Casambi-controlled, so we can demonstrate exactly how lighting affects the atmosphere in and the feel and design of a room. In other words, we show that lighting is much more than light."
