Since last year, visitors to SnowWorld Zoetermeer are welcomed in true winter style. From the winter of 2024 onward, all trees in the parking areas have been fitted with new decorative lighting. A collaboration between Snoeck Electro Centraal and Tronix.

SnowWorld wanted to replace the existing tree lighting around the parking areas,” says Gerrit Paalvast, representative of Snoeck Electro Centraal. “Their goal was a warm, inviting look, but with professional lighting. Reliable operation was key. Nothing disrupts an atmosphere more than flickering or uneven light.”

“The biggest challenge was selecting the right light strings,” Gerrit continues. “A few meters of unlit cable for wrapping the trunk, combined with several shorter and longer illuminated strings for the branches. We also opted for elastic mounting materials that move with the tree and can stay in place for years. SnowWorld handled the installation themselves and the result speaks for itself. ‘It looks fantastic,’ said the head of the technical department. I fully agree: once darkness falls, the trees transform the whole area into a warm and inviting scene.
